At some point, I will have to reflect on channeling 100 poems but for now, I wanted to share something special: since this is a POEM and a MEDITATION, you should listen with your eyes closed and follow along meditation style. Thank you for being with me on the 100 poem journey. :) Everything is Alright Everything is alright A voice said to me I wanted to believe it But how could it be Jimmy has poor grades The baby's got a flu My company's in trouble Our rent is overdue Everything is alright It insisted, it's true Take a long, deep breath Let me prove it to you But my back is in pain And grandma is ill The planet is warming I don't have a will Everything is alright Just try to go slow Be in this moment There's nowhere to go I have to pack lunch And head to the store Check a million boxes Before there are more Everything is alright Gently become aware Of everything going on When you just sit there The mental noise is loud I hear it even more My thoughts are racing And man, is my back sore Everything is alright Breath into the mess Just allow it to be You'll ease the distress But the baby's got the flu... Everything is alright Take a deep breath Our rent is overdue.. Everything is alright Just follow the breath But grandma is ill... Everything is alright Take another deep breath I don't have a will...
